Telephone Access – Our Approach

We do things differently at Waterloo Health. It’s what makes our service so flexible and accessible to our patients.

We operate a telephone access system. When you want to make contact with a GP you simply ring on the day between 8am and 4pm, or book a slot online.

The doctor will ring you back, usually within 1 hour (our current average is 42 minutes) to discuss your problem.

If we can help you without disrupting your day, we will. If it it something that needs a face to face assessment, we’ll arrange a time with you, usually on the same day.

It’s simple and effective. We’re currently working with partners to introduce online and video consultations in the near future as well as skype messaging for those in open plan offices, or where its difficult to talk.
