Our Premises and Planning Update

Waterloo Health Centre continues to thrive in its bespoke modular accommodation on 114 to 118 Lower Marsh. These purpose-designed premises were created to specifications developed jointly by the practice and NHS South East London, ensuring that patients and staff alike benefit from a modern, welcoming, and functional healthcare environment.

Although originally intended as a temporary solution, the building has proven to be an excellent base for providing the full range of high-quality primary care services. Recognising the value of this space to the community, a planning application has been submitted to Lambeth Council for continued use of the two-storey modular building for primary care services for a temporary period of five years.

  • Planning application reference: 25/02946/FUL
  • Decision target date: Friday 14th November 2025

Approval of this application would provide much-needed stability, allowing us to continue delivering excellent care while wider NHS plans for neighbourhood health services in Lambeth.

We are committed to ensuring that our patients always have access to safe, high-quality care in premises that support their needs.

  • “I’ve never had a GP surgery that feels this comfortable and well-designed – it’s a credit to the area.”
