Safeguarding
We take the safeguarding of children extremely seriously. Our key priority is the ensure the wellbeing of children within our practice. On registration, and at regular intervals, we will contact you to update our information on schools attended, and any ongoing involvement with other agencies including social services.
We meet quarterly with a multidisciplinary health team to discuss any families and children who we deem to be in need of additional support. You can ask to see any of our safeguarding policies by contacting us via email. Our safeguarding lead practitioner is Dr Katy Morris
We work together with partner organisations to safeguard our most vulnerable patients, both adults and children. We seek to recognise when children, adults and families are struggling or potentially suffering abuse or neglect.
We will signpost to resources which can help, refer to other agencies and support vulnerable patients where possible.
